Welcome to Temple Beth Or

Temple Beth Or is an egalitarian traditional congregation affiliated with the Conservative movement and a member of the United Synagogue for Conservative Judaism. As the religious and spiritual center of our Jewish community, our aim is to create an all-inclusive, welcoming environment which is warm and inviting, and enriching and meaningful to all who enter.

Adult Education

Experience and participate in the various lectures and programs offered throughout the year by our Adult Education group. Come join in our commitment to life-long learning.

Youth Groups

Our youth groups participate in a variety of activities such as making hamantaschen for Purim or picking apples for Rosh Hashanah while fostering their Jewish identity in an informal social atmosphere.

Lifecycle Events

Whether celebrating a simcha or honoring a departed loved one we share these moments as a community to continue our spiritual commitment to the past while moving forward into the future together.

Sunday, January 27th—Men’s Club Meeting @ 9:00 AM.  Men’s Club will also sponsor a congregation wide breakfast at 10:00 AM prior to the 10:30 presentation by the Brick Police Dept.  No charge.  RSVP by January 23

Sunday, January 27th—Critical Incident Presentation by the Brick Police Dept @ 10:30 AM.  No Charge.  RSVP required by January 24.

Sunday, February 3rd—Men’s Club Breakfast and World Wide Wrap @ 10:00 AM  preceded by Minyan @ 9:00 AM.  RSVP by January 31.

Sunday, February 10th—Men’s Club sponsored Wrestling Event @ 4:00 PM.  Tickets:  $15 in advance; $20 at the door

Monday, February 11th—Sisterhood Book Club, “Tattooist of Auschwitz” by Heather Morris @2:00 PM
